Three years ago I was a very recent college graduate with little idea about what I wanted to do post-college. After being a diligent student for the first 21 years of my life, I graduated from Princeton University with a degree in art history and no idea how I was going to apply my liberal arts education to a real-world job. I was experiencing the ultimate paradox of choice. Yes, as everyone said, the world was my oyster, but I felt utterly paralyzed—pulled between the notions of “doing what I loved” and trying to make the highest salary possible. The problem was, I didn’t know what I loved. Case in point: her outfit during New York Pride and, as Harper's Bazaar pointed out, her Hervé Léger by Max Azria LBD look yesterday too. What made this particular dress work so well is the fit. While it's formfitting, the belted detail at the waist is incredibly flattering, as are the sleeves and perfect above-the-knee length. The Elisabeth Weinstock bag and simple black pumps complemented the frock nicely as well.
