Fashion Girls Will Soon Be Wearing This Quirky Accessories Trend

Fashion girls are no strangers to an offbeat accessory. Take, for instance, the Chanel hula hoop bag that debuted on the runway in 2013, the Vetements lighter heel bootie, or a shoe that’s currently intriguing us: Zara’s ballet sneaker. But in Miu Miu’s new pre-fall collection, the design house is tempting us with an accessory that's an unexpected must-try: the belt headband.

Spotted on several of the label's models, this buckle-embellished design doesn’t appear too different from the kind you’d wear on your pants. Except you don’t. Instead, the hair accent features an elastic band that stretches around the back of the head and comes in a few different variations, including a studded style. While Miu Miu hasn't yet confirmed if these specific pieces will be available with the rest of its pre-fall offerings, we wouldn’t be surprised if, in the meantime, editors, bloggers, and bold style stars everywhere try out the cheeky trend for themselves come fashion week.

Emily Ratajkowski’s Forever 21 Coat Looks So Expensive

We love a good Forever 21 celeb sighting. A-listers like Emma Roberts and Whitney Port are no strangers to wearing the affordable mall brand. Add Emily Ratajkowski to the list of stylish celebs who love to wear F21, the model recently wore a gorgeous faux fur coat while out in Los Angeles. The fuzzy, eye-catching coat was the perfect way to stay warm and make an all-black outfit look incredibly chic.

We also suggest taking note of how she slouched the coat slightly off her shoulder, which, according celebs, is the only way to wear outerwear. Whether you opt for an all-black look similar to EmRata or style the faux fur coat with your favorite dress, it’s sure to add a luxury look to your outfit (without the steep price tag).

Check out the look below and shop our favorite Forever 21 finds at the end.

Gigi Hadid Just Wore a "Groutfit" (and We Love It)

"Groutfit," gray monster, gray on gray on gray—whatever you call it, it refers to a head-to-toe gray outfit. Gigi Hadid recently stepped out in NYC wearing the chicest version of the ensemble, proving that the comfortable look is no longer just for lounging around the house. Of course, her look was customized with black and white side stripes and a small "GH" on her sweatpants. Take note from Hadid and style the monochrome outfit with sneakers and white accessories, and you’re set.

The model is no stranger to starting trends, from extra-long coats to double denim. When she wears something new, fashion follows. So now that she's approved the groutfit, we wonder how many more all-gray ensembles we’ll see roaming around the fashion scene.

Keep reading to see how Gigi Hadid pulls off a full-on gray outfit below!

Bella Hadid's Winter Style Trick Is Totally Genius

Bella Hadid's time in Paris has been jam-packed with runway show after runway show. But, even when she's off-duty, Bella is setting the next big trends. The model's personal style is decidedly edgy, but with a fashionable twist. Her latest look is a spin on a French-girl favorite in winter, a statement coat, black jeans, and ankle boots. Bella swapped out standard denim for uber-trendy leather lace-up pants, which bring a little NYC edge into her look.

Bella added a little extra oomph (and warmth) to the look by layering a leather jacket under her peachy shearling coat. By wearing head-to-toe black, it allowed her outerwear to be the focus of her ensemble. And while she's making the ensemble work for daytime, add a pair of statement earrings and it's perfect for drinks too. Consider this a downtown-cool take on French girl style, c'est bon!

The Zara Piece Olivia Palermo Is Wearing on Repeat

Olivia Palermo has shown (and discussed) her love for Zara time and again. And we've noticed she's especially fond of working pieces from the fast-fashion retailer into her well-thought-out fashion week looks. Her choice to wear the brand to such a high-profile occasion proves that some of her favorite wardrobe pieces at any given moment are from Zara.

Another Olivia Palermo trait that we adore is her tendency to re-wear her clothes. The latest example of this is a long striped knit dress she was first spotted wearing earlier this month in New York. She wore it again this week to attend the Elie Saab show at Paris Couture Fashion Week. Palermo clearly knows how to make the Zara dress look expensive—on both occasions, she wore luxe outerwear (a long camel coat the first time, and a fur jacket this week in Paris) and stiletto-heeled leather boots (by Jimmy Choo).

Sadly, the dress, which originally retailed for $100 and was marked down to $20, is now (understandably) sold out, but we found a few others from Zara that Palermo would love. Keep scrolling to see Palermo wearing her new favorite Zara dress and shop other options inspired by the It girl.
