Confirmed: This Year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Location

Buzz over the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has been quickly growing since casting for the bevy of models that will walk in the show took place last week and celebratory announcements from the chosen models soon took over Instagram. And after months of speculation, the brand has finally confirmed where the big show will take place come November, and as expected, Shanghai it is! 

In the past, the show has typically taken place in fashion capitals around the world, including New York, Paris, and London, with Miami also making an appearance in 2008. The show is seen in more than 190 countries, meaning that it's truly a global event, so what better way to celebrate that than by sending the Angels (on a private jet, naturally) to an all-new continent for the show? The annual show will premiere on November 28, and we'll be here to keep you up-to-date with all the VS-related news until then, naturally.

6 Fashion Vending Machines to Shop on the Go

As shoppers, we're becoming increasingly accustomed to new retail innovations—one-click ordering, paying with Apple Pay or Venmo, subscription services—coming from the high-tech world, so it's a little funny that one of the industry's latest novelties is one you've probably been using since grade school. Fashion vending machines dispense clothing and accessories in boutiques, airports, and shopping malls around the globe, and while they could be seen as a mere gimmick, major brands are embracing them as a means to market to new customers and provide a convenient way to shop on the go.

Earlier this month, Uniqlo announced that it would begin rolling out vending machines in airports and malls around the country (starting with 10 locations in August and September, including Oakland, Houston, and John F. Kennedy Airport in New York), offering ultra-light down jackets, Heattech tops, and other essentials via box or canister.

But the Japanese brand isn't alone in trying out the concept. Below, see six retailers where you can buy sneakers, socks, flip-flops, and more—all with the same technology you usually use to buy Diet Coke and M&Ms.

We tapped a few experts to find out. “Breathable workout clothing is important because it keeps your body temperature optimal both during a workout and, even more important physiologically, during recovery,” notes JJ Hendershot, senior director of Vimmia. Helping to wick away sweat is not only optimal for comfort, but it also helps keep the body from cooling too quickly. “When the body cools excessively and quickly, muscles tighten up, tendons and ligaments are stretched, and the body itself goes into a state of shock,” Hendershot adds.

Also worth noting? “Breathable fabric allows air to flow more easily, preventing bacteria from becoming trapped between your clothing and skin while working out,” says Michelle Woo, designer at Carbon38. Woo recommends seeking out lightweight fabrics, while Slava Furman, CEO and creative director of Noli Yoga, adds that “strategically placed mesh panels increase micro ventilation and overall breathability.”

The Easy Way to Layer Your Jewelry

Finally I can show you my new jewelry collection for Maria Pascual. From the beginning, my idea has always been to create timeless and simple pieces, those ones that you can wear every day and with any outfit, and I believe I made it. Among the collection, you can find a round neck inspired by the 50 Japanese yen coin. When I was in Tokyo, I loved the coin so much that I kept a few to make a necklace with. At the end, I thought it was a better idea to make a modification of the original coin for my own collection. I can only say that since I got it, I can’t stop wearing it and love to match and layer it with the small gold horn necklace from the past collection.

We’ve taken thousands of pics since I got my little gems but, for now, I’m sharing ones that we took around our beautiful hotel in Ibiza. I was wearing a blue-and-white polka-dot dress paired with a pink hat and some of my jewels matched with other ones that I used to wear every day.
