This season, we’ve been drawn to fringed clothing and accessories like moths to a flame. Blame it on Proenza Schouler, Isabel Marant, and Dolce & Gabbana, who all featured fringe in their SS15 collections. Lucky for us, fringe is everywhere and at every price point these days. What we love most about this festive trim is that the attention to detail adds a touch of luxury, the caveat being that it can go from classy to cheap-looking in an instant. To avoid a fringe faux pas, look for neutral, monochromatic colors and fringe that is short and dense as opposed to long and stringy.
