If you’ve ever chalked up J.Lo or Charlize Theron’s inability to age to their sure-to-be extensive skin routine and good diet choices (read: nothing that resembles our own Friday night cheese fry habit), you’re partly right. But, according to a new study conducted at Harvard Medical School in partnership with Olay, there’s actually another factor at play: their genes. Yup, supposedly, there actually women who are considered “exceptional skin agers” (as in, they look dramatically younger than others in the same age group), and the cause for this is their unique gene expression “fingerprint.”
