Based off the F/W 16 runways, we've already proclaimed mid-calf boots as one of the biggest shoe trends of the season. However, we know that this somewhat unusual shaft height might feel a bit tricky to style at first. These are the times when we look to our favorite stylish celebrities for inspiration. Gigi Hadid, for example, was spotted last week in a pair from Sandro. Here's how she made it work. Firstly, wearing all black helped to keep the rest of her look sleek and classic so as to provide room for the trend to shine. She also opted for distressed boyfriend jeans that were just cropped enough to show off the taller boot, but not so short that any leg peeked out. Genius. Hadid topped everything off with a long winter coat and cozy sweater and voila, she had a simple winter ensemble with a fresh twist of a shoe trend.
