Boudoir dressing is alive and well, with celebrities continuing to borrow after hour bedroom staples for more public occasions. The trend's first reemergence was validated by runway iterations but we've since moved on from '90s-inspired lace slips as dresses into full-on see-through bodysuits that have become a model favorite. Just yesterday, Kendall Jenner posted a photo to Instagram of herself in such a number, with aptly-placed pizza emoji.
The risqué lingerie-inspired look was demonstrated most recently by Bella Hadid. The model was spotted out in West Hollywood last night, flaunting a sheer lace bodysuit as the star of her dark ensemble. She paired the plunging transparent piece with high-waisted jeans and a long Brashy coat. Hadid is no stranger to strutting out in public with pieces that were originally intended for the bedroom. A couple months ago she worked the trend into an airport outfit in broad daylight.
