The Supermodel Trick to Avoid Skinny-Jean "Waist Gap"

If you're a skinny jeans addict (we get it, they're classics at this point), chances are, you spend a solid chunk of your shopping expeditions on the hunt for that perfect pair. You know what we're talking about—that ideal style that fits you flawlessly and makes you feel confident and fashionable. Sure, you may already own this must-have silhouette, but if you don't (or are looking to upgrade), we're sharing, along with the help of Ashley Graham, the ultimate tip to finding those dream skinnies that will fit you like a glove.

In the February issue of InStyle, the supermodel spilled on her favorite jeans (high-waisted skinnies that she wears with a crop top to show off her shape, FYI) and how she shops for the perfect pair. "I always look for jeans with a little bit of stretch, and then go down a size, which helps minimize that dreaded waist gap," she told InStyle. What a genius trick, right? Because, really, it's that little extra opening at the waist that can sometimes make skinnies sag in the wrong areas.

Keep this trick in mind the next time you're out shopping for jeans, and if you're in the mood to order a pair and test them out at home, go on to shop some of our favorite skinnies for every style and body type.

Planning a Wedding? This App Will Make Your Life Much Easier

Think about it: Now's the time of year when wedding planning is heavily under way. We've just finished celebrating last holiday season’s flood of engagement announcements, and we're still several months away from May and June—aka you-know-what season. But Fame and Partners's massive launch is here to ease a bit of the stress that goes into planning a wedding—at least as far as style goes.

The Australian brand is already known for customized creations, but when we met with its founder Nyree Corby last week, she told us how an expansion into bridal was a natural next step—for bridal and bridesmaid fashion alike. The way Corby sees it (and most everyone who's ever been a bridesmaid can relate), no bunch of bridesmaids in history has ever been the same exact size, height, or proportions. Meaning a one-design-fits-all approach is not realistic. But as a part of the new launch, Fame and Partners has taken to perfecting eight different silhouettes that are available from sizes 0 to 22, and offer nearly endless customization options to make any girl feel her best—all under $250.

Naturally, for the woman of the hour, Fame and Partners has also expanded its wedding dress (and skirt and jumpsuit) offerings to make sure brides-to-be don't just find their wedding-day look—they create it. The initial bridal collection kicked off with four themes—classic, modern, Bohemian, and rebellious—from which you can customize your ideal dress for walking down the aisle, with final choices mostly coming in under $1000.

Beyond just the clothing, Fame and Partners has created an organizational tool to help tie all the new products together. They introduced an app, Wedding Atelier, for creating, sharing, purchasing, and essentially making it easier to coordinate outfits whether you have two people in your bridal party or 20. This way, you're left with extra time to plan the party—or, you know, enjoy quality time with your soon-to-be spouse.

Below, take your first look at some of the newly introduced, size-inclusive bridal styles, all available starting today.

Gigi Hadid Will Soon Be Wearing These Sneakers Everywhere

It's no surprise that It girls have a lot of influence over It fashion items. When a model swears by a uniform of leggings, bomber jackets, and sneakers (so many sneakers), we're always excited to see how their outfit formulas live up to the hype. And in the latest images for the Reebok campaign, the classic athletic brand's recently appointed spokesmodel, Gigi Hadid, might have just helped propel the shoe craze.

The new behind-the-scenes-style Reebok images capture the 21-year-old in a playful and candid setting wearing the label's new Diamond Pack Club C designs. According to the press release, the original Club C made its debut in 1985, but thanks to the support of Hadid—as well as Kendrick Lamar, who's another Reebok face—the newest iteration of the functional piece received a fashion-forward update. In other words, don’t be surprised to see Hadid wearing hers on a regular basis, along with others quickly following suit.

The new Club C designs will be available starting tomorrow, February 1, in four different colorways. Until then, check out Hadid totally hamming it up in the just-released photos, and shop other Reebok designs that will get you one step closer to model-off-duty perfection.

Dakota Johnson Wore the Shoe Brand That's About to Be Everywhere

We're quite sure that cool-girl of the moment Dakota Johnson will always be loyal to her signature Gucci loafers and ankle boots (can you blame her?), but lately, the actress has been stepping out in some fresh, new shoe trends. Johnson just wore the #1 shoe style of 2017 (embellished slippers), and now she's wearing one of the coolest pairs of heels of 2017.

We recently predicted that New York-based Gray Matters would be the shoe brand that fashion girls would be wearing this spring, and our forecast already seems to be coming to fruition. The 50 Shades Darker actress wore a pair of the brands Mildred Pumps while doing press in New York and the flattering V-neck pumps brilliantly stood out against her all-black outfit, thanks to a bold red cube-shaped heel. It's special details like these that make Gray Matters the shoe brand to watch.

Selena Gomez Wore the Chicest Boots in Italy With The Weeknd

Some vacations are a tropical paradise, and some leave you fighting off freezing temps just in order to peruse a new city. And the latter seemed to be the case with Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, who were spotted sightseeing in Florence. Though even completely bundled up, Gomez served up a sleek ensemble that was as warm as it was cool.

The singer, walking in arm with Abel Tesfaye, chose a chic maxi-length, navy blue, robe coat with an elegant oversized lapel. She accented the look with a pretty, fuzzy pastel pink scarf and a pair of tinted sunnies—very on-trend and also a great way to accessorize when all you want to do is wrap yourself in a heated blanket. However, the pièce de résistance was Gomez’s footwear: a pair of tall, sleek, black boots that feature a pointed toe and high heel. While the shape gave the style star's silhouette an elongated line, the tall height of the shoes also doubled as an extra layer of warmth—much better for fending off the cold than an ankle boot, or worse, a pump. Gomez's selection was equally ladylike, just without any shivering.

How Anna Wintour Dressed in Her 30s

Anna Wintour has been a fixture in the fashion industry since she first took over the reins at Vogue in 1988 when she was just 39 years old. Of course, we love chronicling what she's wearing these days—and which trends she deems "out"—but we can never resist a good throwback. So we set out to discover what she wore in her 30s as an up-and-coming editor, and we definitely struck gold with the photos we found.

Although Wintour's style has definitely evolved since then, some elements of her looks are actually quite similar to her present-day attire. For instance, she's never given up on the classic jacket-and-pencil-skirt combo. (Although her hemlines are a bit longer these days!) Read on to see what else she donned back in the '80s—you might just get some stellar outfit inspiration for 2017.

17 Things Audrey Hepburn Would've Bought From Zara

From the very start of her career, Audrey Hepburn cemented herself as a style icon, both on- and off-screen. Aside from her talent, of course, Hepburn is so beloved because she was able to effortlessly achieve movie-star glamour while staying true to her signature gamine aesthetic. And Hepburn is one of the rare celebrities whose outfits would translate just as well today as they did in the '50s and '60s, proving the timelessness of the star.

While Hepburn was known for being Hubert de Givenchy's muse, we can't help but imagine that she would've mixed her Givenchy pieces with Zara finds just as celebrities of our generation are known to do. Accordingly, we sifted through the vast offerings from Zara with her sophisticated yet youthful sensibility in mind and found a slew of pieces that the elegant fashion girl of yore would've loved. So if you adore Audrey Hepburn's style and Zara, this one is for you.

Ask anyone in Mexico City about the fashion girl of the moment, and you'll probably get the same answer over and over: Olympia de la Macorra. (I stopped by the shop on my recent trip to Mexico City and can vouch for its to-die-for selection.)

Besides being a shop owner and model, de la Macorra also happens to have insanely chic style, which is reflected on her Instagram. This One-Second Styling Trick Will Elevate Your Work Outfit

The Worst Things to Wear on a Blind Date, According to Experts

It's 7:45 p.m. Your blind date is at 8:30, and you have yet to settle on your outfit. We've all been there, frantically trying (and rejecting) just about every option in our closets. Why is it that the moment you want to dress to impress, you hate everything you own?

You probably have butterflies in your stomach about the date already, so worrying about your outfit is just one more thing that adds to the uneasiness that may come with the occasion. The Verdict Is In: Dakota Johnson Is the Most TSA-Approved Celeb

These days, it's safe to say that we're all somewhat immune to seeing celebrities strutting down airport terminals wearing stilettos, dresses, tight leather pants, and other admittedly impractical things. But there are some stylish celebrities who manage to always look polished yet appropriate for going through security, rushing between gates, and sitting on cramped planes for hours at a time. One of the first of that breed of celebrity who comes to mind is Dakota Johnson. We're convinced that TSA agents are likely pleased when they see her coming because she sticks to practical pieces like flat shoes, lightweight jackets, minimal accessories, dark colors, and loose or stretchy pants. To prove our observation, we compiled a few of Johnson's recent airport looks (including one from just yesterday that's spot-on) that are the definition of TSA-friendly.

Opening Ceremony Takes on the Ballet Trend, but Not the Way You Think

The fashion world and the dance world have historically been creative collaborators, but it’s never been more obvious than right now. We’re currently in the middle of a craze that’s brought us everything from graceful tulle layers and a resurgence of ballet flats to a truly unexpected sneaker hybrid. And now Opening Ceremony has teamed with a professional dancer for its latest collection and is setting itself apart with a powerful message, too.

Debuted this past weekend at a performance by the New York City Ballet, The Times Are Racing is not only the name of a piece created by the ballet's resident choreographer, Justin Peck, it's also Opening Ceremony's collection designed by Humberto Leon (who also costumed the ballet).

The results make for both beautiful and powerful pieces. Hoodies and tees in the new line are emblazoned with the words "change," "protest," "act," "defy," and "fight," intended as a "meditation on the American melting pot," according to a press release. And the collection as a whole—complete with silky and lacy dresses, ballet wrap tops, and army green bomber and canvas jackets—aims to "channel serendipity and connection" between strangers.

Scroll down to take a look at some of the key pieces in Leon's new lineup. Some pieces are available to shop right now on Opening Ceremony.

It's Official: Kendall Jenner Is "Over" One of 2016's Biggest Trends

It's safe to say that there was no bigger celebrity endorser of the choker trend in 2016 than Kendall Jenner. The model wore the '90s staple with athleisure, formalwear, and everything in between. But it seems that her love affair with at least the most popular iteration of the '90s trend has ended—fabric chokers.

Jenner recently took to her website to wax poetic about her current feelings about the polarizing trend, saying "I know, I was wearing fabric chokers all the time—and it's not to say I don't still love them—but I'm over them right now." But that's not to say that she's over the choker trend completely. She continued, "Instead of fabric, I'm obsessed with chain or diamond chokers right now. Anything mixed materials is fun, too! I love layering them on and piling as much cool jewelry on as I can. It's a fun statement without being too much."

So there you have it—Kendall Jenner has coined metal chokers the 2017 version of the choker trend, and we can definitely get on board with the prettier, more delicate take on the trend. Accordingly, keep scrolling to see proof of Jenner's love for chain and diamond chokers and shop a few that we know you'll love.

Hailey Baldwin Just Wore 2017's Cool-Girl Outfit

If you've been following our street style coverage lately, you already know that 2016 was the year of the bomber jacket. Well, now that the new year is here, it looks like a similarly sporty (but much more daring) silhouette is taking its place as the winter rages on—the puffer jacket.

The latest celeb who is here for the tricky trend is none other than model-off-duty Hailey Baldwin. She just wore a particularly voluminous iteration from Vetements's collaboration with Alpha Industries. As puffy as her version may be, she made sure her figure didn't get lost by styling it with J Brand's super skinny Maria high waisted jeans. To top off the casual look, she opted for a casual cashmere hoodie and crisp white sneakers. Take note—this is the cool-girl way to wear the oversized outerwear style for 2017.

How Bullies Helped Zendaya Find the New Face of Her Brand

Zendaya may only be 20 years old, but she’s totally outspoken—calling out injustices when she sees them and making a name for herself with her talents and her voice. And she doesn’t just talk the talk.

As Teen Vogue reported, Zendaya took to Twitter a few days ago responding to an instance of body shaming. She spoke out against a cyber bully who attacked a user, Honey Dip, on her photos and size.

“She is fine as hell head to toe and garunteed [sic] does't know you exist my man. As for her, slay on queen,” Zendaya said in response to the mean and disrespectful comments toward Honey Dip, which have since been deleted from Twitter. And in the next breath Zendaya made the ultimate offer: "Can we find her @....I'd love for her to be a @dayabyzendaya model."

Ultimately, social media (and her the style star's millions of followers) brought the two together, and we're hoping it's not long before we officially see Honey Dip fronting Daya by Zendaya's next campaign. After all, the brand itself was created to celebrate and represent women of all shapes and sizes.

Back in November Zendaya told Who What Wear why it wasn't even a question to include plus sizes in her just-launched label: "There are a billion different types of body shapes in the world, and to annihilate an entire section makes no sense to me. To me, [inclusive sizing] is a first instinct." It'll be exciting to see how her plans continue to roll out and promote inclusivity, not bullying.

Scroll down to see how the exchange went down between the star and the newly signed model.

Gigi and Bella Hadid Are Still Endorsing This Denim Trend

While Gigi and Bella Hadid's style is indeed different in many ways, there are many favorite trends that they have in common, including their love of athleisure, sock boots, bomber jackets, and bodysuits. And it became clear this weekend that they also share affection for a particular denim trend: flares.

The sisters, who stepped out in New York for brunch with their mom and to join the immigration protests, were wearing the same jeans that the other had worn the week before, and both of them were flares. Gigi's were Mother's cropped track pants-inspired pair (Bella had worn the black pair in Paris a few days prior), and Bella's were the same pair of button-front pinstripe flares that Gigi had worn a few days prior. While the flared denim trend has been going strong for several seasons now, Gigi and Bella's strong endorsement proves it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

This Under-the-Radar British Royal Is Insanely Stylish

It's no secret that we're fans of all things royal style here at Who What Wear. We love chronicling Kate Middleton's chic dresses, Princess Mary of Denmark's impeccable looks, and Princess Charlene of Monaco's sophisticated ensembles. But what if we told you that there's a chic royal who you might not be well acquainted with yet? Meet Lady Amelia Windsor.

Thanks to a recent interview with British Vogue, we learned more about the 21-year-old who is 36th in line to the British throne. Is Vintage Fur In or Out? You Be the Judge

There's no denying that the practice of using fur to make clothing and accessories is one of the fashion industry's most hotly debated subjects. Stella McCartney, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein have made commitments to keeping their collections fur-free, but a slew of other designers and brands continue to use it, much to the dismay of animal rights activists. Purchasing a new fur piece is one thing, as one could argue that the present-day fur industry is directly profiting from those sales, therefore perpetuating the process. But what about vintage fur which isn't part of the contemporary supply chain? Say your grandmother passed a fur down to you, or you found a second-hand piece at a vintage store. When it comes to ethical standards, many in the anti-fur camp believe that fur is fur and wearing any form of it is an endorsement of fur-farming practices in general. We've also heard the side of the argument that vintage fur is much better for the environment than a new piece made up of synthetic or treated fabric.

Conflicting sentiments aside, there's nothing else that can quite compete with the glamour that fur lends to an outfit, whether genuine or faux. Let us know where you stand on the issue of vintage fur by taking the poll below, and after that, shop our faux-fur picks!

Prediction: These Will Be the Biggest Moments From NYFW

A number of brands have debut designers premiering next month. Oscar de la Renta sees new co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia producing their first collection. The duo worked for Oscar de la Renta previously, with Kim as design director and Garcia as design assistant. Kim and Garcia, who helm their own brand, Monse, will be taking the reins from Peter Copping, who departed the company in July 2016.

Calvin Klein is also seeing a change of hands with Raf Simons helming both womenswear and menswear collections. It was announced in August 2016 that Simons, previously creative director at Dior, would take over after the departure of Italo Zucchelli and Francisco Costa. The Calvin Klein show will be showing mens- and womenswear together.

This Star Bought Her Own SAG Awards Dress for $308

During award season, our favorite part of the spectacle is admiring the gorgeous gowns our favorite ladies don to step out onto the red carpet. But while we lust after the striking dresses, it never crosses our mind to ever make them ours. But one celebrity in particular is changing the game, regularly hitting the red carpet in dresses we can actually buy.

Yes, Bryce Dallas Howard has done it again—wowing on the red carpet in a look straight off the rack. Last year she purchased her own dress to wear to the Golden Globes, a dark blue lace Jenny Packham number from Neiman Marcus. More recently, Howard turned heads in a stunning mustard yellow find from none other than Topshop.

This time, Howard went full-on glam at Sunday's SAG Awards in a sequined ruby, V-neck Dress the Population gown. Not only do Howard's retail choices make a statement about having more inclusive sizing options than the size two samples that have become a standard of Hollywood, but her latest selection is a label with a cause. Each month, half the sales from one particular garment of the collection go to a charity chosen by the company's customers and employees.

Let us know what you think in the comments, and shop Bryce Dallas Howard's exact dress. Bonus: It comes in six colors.

This Is How Kerry Washington Showed Solidarity at the SAG Awards

Though stars gathered for the SAG Awards in Los Angeles dressed to the nines to celebrate the best actors in film and television, the world beyond the red carpet and the silver screen was still experiencing a turbulent time. Washington communicated where her thoughts and heart were that evening with a little detail attached to her white beaded Roberto Cavalli Couture gown. On her left shoulder, she wore a safety pin to symbolize solidarity.

En route to the event, Washington posted a photo of the safety pin to Instagram, writing, "I'll be wearing one of these tonight. On my arm. To show solidarity. We will not stop fighting for our safety & the safety of our fellow citizens and human beings. #NoBanNoWall." The sentiment harks back to the aftermath of last November's presidential election, when people began wearing safety pins as a way to send the message of solidarity in a divided time, when supporting one another is more important than ever.

The $17 Celeb Secret to Walking in Heels Without Any Pain

Tonight on the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2017 red carpet, nominee Viola Davis revealed a red carpet hack dealing with something so many can relate to—heel pain. In an interview with E! News' Giuliana Rancic, she was asked about her insider secrets to surviving the evening, to which she replied, "So far it's tame—my feet are okay. I sprayed a little thing on my toe to numb my pain. I got it online."

The spray she used is called Still Standing and apparently is one of the main reasons she is, well, still standing. The spray can be purchased online for only $17 and is, according to the brand's site, "a natural, paraben-free proprietary patent-pending formula that prevents any swelling, redness or pain BEFORE it starts. It does NOT numb feet or affect walking or balance in any way." Plus, it's small enough to fit into your clutch or purse should you need to reapply. Sign us up!

Nicole Kidman's Gucci Dress Is Actual Red Carpet Paradise

Tonight on the red carpet for the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards, Nicole Kidman blew us away with her inventive Gucci dress, which was covered from top to bottom in bold green sequins that brilliantly complemented her complexion. And, of course, in true Gucci fashion, the dress had a few surprising elements tacked on as well—parrots! The tropical birds acted as gorgeous oversize shoulders, and we're starting to think they're the best accent we have ever seen grace a red carpet.

If anyone can pull off a frock this daring, it's Nicole and her classy yet confidant personality.
