The thing about Oscar-night, red-carpet predictions is that, many times, it’s close to impossible to really know what an actress will select. After all, when a custom option is on the table, we don’t blame a girl for going the one-of-a-kind route. And even if a gorgeous dress parades down the Couture Fashion Week runway, as so many did this past week, there could be many tweaks and alterations and ultimately the dress that appears for awards night is more like a version of the original. But hey, we’re going to make some guesses anyway.
After all, the fun of following the red carpet is learning about our favorite star’s style POV, how she chooses to celebrate a major occasion, and what her power look is. So with this in mind, we revisited the 2017 best actress and best supporting actress nominees's past Oscar looks and selected the couture creation most likely for her to wear from the most next.
