When Everlane released a new line of trousers last month, they boldly stated that they were "The most flattering pant you'll ever try." And, clearly, everyone took their word for it. The pants in question? Their Wide Leg Crop Pant, which came in three color options: mid blue, bone, and washed black. The brand ran a campaign to coincide with the release that featured real women wearing the ultra-flattering pants, and quoting what they had to say about them. One woman said "They make me look really tall", while another remarked: "The fit in the butt? Amazing."
Everlane ensured that the waist-nipping, leg-lengthening, butt-boosting pants would look good on every woman. Which probably explains why one pair of the $68 pants sold every 20 seconds on their launch day (February 14), and they were completely sold out in 48 hours, as Everlane told us.
