Prince Harry and the Obamas love to support one another's causes. You may remember that former president Barack Obama attended the royal's Invictus Games event back in September, and now Prince Harry is returning the favor by supporting the Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago today.
Ahead of the event, Prince Harry and Michelle Obama paid a surprise visit to a local high school, where the stylish duo dressed in coordinating light blue work shirts and pants. (Michelle, of course, wore a fashion girl's version of the classic button-up shirt.) When a powerhouse duo get together to do good work—and dress well while doing it— they're pretty much unstoppable.

Huge congrats are in order for Chiara Ferragni and her fiancé Fedez who just announced that they’re expecting their first child. The couple posed in bathrobes for their Instagram announcement—her in a tiara that said “mother,” him in a cap that read “daddy.”
Back in May the Italian rapper proposed to The Blonde Salad blogger during his concert and amidst celebrations for her 30th birthday. Now there’s even more to celebrate as Chiara is five months pregnant. “We can't wait to meet baby raviolo,” Chiara captioned her photo. “Life is beautiful.”
As we wait for baby Raviolo to make his or her big debut, we’re sure Chiara will be setting a new bar for maternity style. Naturally, we can’t wait to follow along. Congrats to these two on their growing family!

H&M isn't the only Swedish brand you should look to for amazing jeans. Jeanerica is a brand-new label out of the chic Scandinavian country, and we recommend putting it on your radar before the secret gets out. Founded by Lena Patriksson and Jonas Clason, who also co-founded Whyred and ATP Atelier, the brand is the perfect investment if you're looking for a new pair of blues. And with prices starting at $59, the jeans won't break the bank.
"The Jeanerica range features essential styles in perfect fits with understated details and expert washes," the press release reads. "Based on archetypal models, these styles are constantly refined and adjusted to stay true to denim’s original function as a modern garment for everybody."
As for the campaign, the brand photographed local personalities without a stylist or hair and makeup teams. After all, who needs extra accoutrements when you've got perfect Swedish genes (and jeans)?

Having garnered 18 million Instagram followers (and counting!) in six years, Shay Mitchell is as much a star on social media as she’s been on television. And while it only takes a matter of seconds for the actress to rack up hundreds of double taps on her posts, we had the chance to slow it down with Mitchell as she sat down with Who What Wear to divulge her rules of social media manners and the stories behind her ‘grams.
In the video below, the Pretty Little Liars star told us why she loves to post as many pizza photos as she does of boxing, as well as the French woman whose feed she’s totally obsessed with (you'll want to follow Mimi Thorisson, too). Furthermore, since her ‘gram tradition is to post a balloon photo for every million followers she gains, we can probably expect a new one any day now as she just recently crossed the 18M mark.
Watch below for Mitchell's tales from Behind The 'Gram.

The Anna Wintour we're used to seeing is private and extremely composed, but she just showed a whole new side to herself. Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the editor in chief participated in the host's segment "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts," in which she had to either answer personal questions or eat crazy foods. The result, as you can imagine, was beyond funny—how often will you get to see Wintour eating bacon-wrapped pizza and cracking up during an entire interview?
Corden went all-out with his juicy questions for Wintour: He asked her to rank her favorite and least favorite designers, reveal who she wouldn't invite back to the Met Gala, and even asked a racy question about a certain famous singer (yes, really). Watch the hilarious video below to see the full interview. You can thank us later.

Along with Heidi Klum, Lauren Conrad is someone we always look forward to seeing on Halloween. Luckily for us, she's already revealed her Cruella de Vil costume for this year—with 12 days to spare.
In a new post on LaurenConrad.com, she explained that she usually makes her costumes from scratch, including all the cutting and sewing. "But this year, I found myself with a little less time on my hands (I’m sure my fellow new mothers can relate…), so I opted for a less time consuming costume," Conrad wrote on her site. "I still put together this costume myself, but all of the individual pieces can be purchased—no sewing skills required." Time to start searching for a faux fur coat of your own.

Summer vacations are so overrated—it's all about the fall getaway. (If you follow these 6 Instagram It girls, that is.) No offense to Paris and London, but we've noticed a lot of stylish women traveling to more unexpected destinations this season, and we're simply drooling over their vacation 'grams.
Emily Ratajkowski, for instance, headed to Marrakech, Morocco earlier this month, and we immediately wanted to book the next trip to the stunning spot. Aimee Song was recently in Costa Rica, while British blogger Lucy Williams is currently sparking envy with her trip to Utah. How can we possibly decide where to jet off to next?

Sure, some people love to watch the leaves fall when October comes around, but if you don't want to say goodbye to sunny weather, Aimee Song knows exactly where to go. The Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort looks like pura vida to us.
British It girl Lucy Williams is currently at one of the coolest hotels in the U.S.: Amangiri Hotel and Resort, located in a remote part of Utah. "A design lovers dream, Amangiri utilises the natural light, landscape and colours of the Utah desert to maximum effect," Williams explained in an Instagram post.
Who's up for some yoga in the middle of the Caribbean? The iconic Round Hill Hotel and Villas offers that (and plenty more). The interiors are designed by none other than Ralph Lauren, and past guests include famous faces like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who stayed there while attending a wedding earlier this year.
Of course Margo and Me blogger Jenny Cipoletti looks amazing during fashion month, but this week she's taking her impeccable sense of style to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she's staying at Hotel Jackson. Can we tag along next time, Jenny?
Antwerp, Belgium has been the beautiful backdrop for Aimee Song's most recent Instagrams. She's staying at one of the coolest boutique hotels in the city: Hotel De Witte Lelie.
From Alicia Vikander to Mary Seng of Happily Grey, lots of stylish people have nixed the ubiquitous summer wedding in favor of a fall ceremony. Now you can add country star Kacey Musgraves to that list. The singer just got married in Tennessee in a beautiful setting in the woods.
"Saturday, in a sacred place where two rivers meet and join together, I married my best friend..barefoot and surrounded by the deepest kind of magic and love that exists," she captioned her Instagram post. Who needs expensive designer wedding shoes when you can just go barefoot?

We've seen no shortage of extravagant celebrity wedding dresses, but it seems actress Alicia Vikander went a different route. Vikander married actor Michael Fassbender in Ibiza over the past weekend, and while we have yet to catch a glimpse of her ceremony look, if her bridal weekend style is any indication, the ensemble will be a decidedly low-key.
The Oscar-winner strolled by the beach in a relaxed yet bride-appropriate white dress by Zimmermann. Styled with white heart-shaped sunglasses (how's that for sticking to a theme) and comfy slip-ons, her ensemble could easily be mistaken for your average casual-cute vacation-wear if it weren't for the strategic color coordination. Judging by her outfit choice, Vikander may just be the chillest Hollywood bride out there.

Spring is still more than six months away, but that doesn't mean we have to wait to wear the warm-weather trends we saw on the runways until then. And Kendall Jenner is proof. The model was spotted out at an event for the boutique What Goes Around Comes Around, sporting a particular style that was brought into focus during Calvin Klein's S/S 18 show. But she put her own spin on it, making it much more appropriate for everyday wear.
Kendall buttoned up into a silk, Western-inspired shirt that nodded back to the all-American looks we saw in Raf Simons's presentation. But rather than wearing the bold-colored designs seen throughout the show, she chose a more classic one, opting for a black, cowgirl-approved button-down that featured piped white pockets and a floral embroidered neckline. She paired the silky shirt with faded jeans, grounding the look with pointed-toe black boots—perfect for a night out.
And if you were a bit hesitant about how to translate this runway trend into real life, take notes from Kendall's ensemble that proves that every look can be street style–ready with just a few simple tweaks.

If you follow us on Instagram then you should remember my #LFWwithMS takeover, where I shared my favorite moments from London fashion week with our Instagram followers. I had several readers reach out and ask about my outfits and tips on what to pack for a trip across the pond. So today I’m sharing the key pieces I packed for fashion week along with few of my favorite looks from my trip to inspire your wardrobe for your next vacation.
Along with planning out each outfit before your getaway, my number one tip for packing for any trip is to take photos of each outfit you’ve planned so that you don’t have to think twice on what to wear during your trip and I’ve learned this trick also helps you to not overpack.
Keep reading to find out what to (pack) and wear in London.
It’s safe to say that once you wear the Fantasy Bra on a runway for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, your career’s in a pretty solid place (at the very least). But in a little game of Fashion Firsts, we asked last year’s VS show honoree to walk us down memory lane to recall some of her very first milestones in the business. And you may be left surprised.
The 26-year-old share that her first ever photo shoot was for none other than the iconic teen mall brand Abercrombie & Fitch—with legendary photographer Bruce Weber, of course. Meanwhile the first item she ever purchased with her hard-earned modeling paychecks was a Prada bag. Chic, non? Tookes says she bought it because “it was a bag that could also fit my book as I was running around to castings.” Clearly this now supermodel has a pretty practical head on her shoulders, too.
Watch the complete video to learn more about Tookes’s other fashion firsts. Then, up next, meet the style icon who’s convinced the dog walk is so much cooler than the catwalk.

The movie chronicles two childhood friends who reconnect and "bring out each other's most destructive tendencies," per the press release. Watch the trailer here.
Back again: It’s official, fanny packs are cool again. E! Daily Pop host Catt Sadler partnered with handbag designer Lulu Eschelman to create a one-of-a-kind bag called The Jacki. And here's the bonus: There's a charitable element. The bag retails for $575, and 50% of the sales will go to support the Women Like Us Foundation, which is dedicated to promoting gender equality and social justice. Shop the bag online here.
Watch and learn: British luxury goods company Smythson has launched its newest travel campaign, Journey to the Wild Side. If fall 2016 was all about loafers, fall 2017 is all about oxfords (aka brogues or derby shoes). Earlier this year, the menswear-inspired flats style was declared dead, and there was even extensive data to back it up. Thanks to the Gucci endorsement, the only classic flats anyone seemed to want to wear were loafers, and while those are still going strong, we couldn't help but notice that celeb after celeb has stepped out in oxfords again as of late. Everything comes back around in fashion, but this time around, the oxfords in question come with an edge-adding twist: studs.
Just last night, Olivia Palermo stepped out for a dinner date in skinny jeans and Givenchy's studded chain brogues, and Karlie Kloss wore her Christian Louboutin pair throughout fashion month. What we love about this resurrected flats trend is that there are a number of other pieces you can and should wear them with. For example, they add a cool contrast with a dress or skirt, or you can embrace the rocker vibe and pair them with leather trousers à la Kloss. And since there are a ton of studded oxfords on the market right now, we rounded up a few of our favorites.
Below see how celebs are styling their oxford shoes this fall, and shop our studded oxford picks.
Pretty much every woman owns at least one pair of clean, classic skinny jeans, which are always a no-brainer. But from time to time, new skinny-jean trends emerge that also deserve a place in your closet, and Cindy Crawford just wore one that's definitely worth considering.
In recent months, we've been seeing more and more split-hem skinny jeans on the market. The pair that Crawford clearly approves of is from Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's latest collection with Paige. With a 34.5" inseam, they were designed to be worn with heels, but even if you choose to wear flat shoes, they won't bunch at the ankles (which isn't the most flattering look). At 5'9", Crawford opted to wear them with flat sandals, and they'd look equally cool with sneakers, ankle boots, or stilettos.
So whatever your height and whatever type of shoe you choose to pair with your skinny jeans, you might want to invest in the split-hem trend if you're as adverse to skinny jeans that pool around the ankles as we are.
See and shop Cindy Crawford's flattering skinny jeans below.
Now that fashion month is officially in the rearview mirror, it's time to take a step back and finally suss out the trends that really made waves across every city. Sure, New York has its sneakers, and Paris has plenty of designer duds, but from fashion week to fashion week, there were four major trends that swept the streets.
To help show off exactly what we'll all be wearing in the coming months, we turned to the team at Net-a-Porter, who created a list of trends from their stylish travels. Below, find the NAP buying team's breakdown of the four trends they're stocking on the site and wearing IRL too. With both our favorite styles and shots illustrating exactly how to pull them off, rest assured you'll be ready to tackle the coming months like the true trendsetter that you are.

Incorporating unexpected details into an outfit is a power move routinely used by some of our favorite style stars. Whether it's a unique hemline or expertly curated accessories, this attention to detail is often what sets apart a seasoned eye from the rest. Tracee Ellis Ross recently demonstrated her fashion prowess by pairing two unlikely items together: sequins and sneakers.
Earlier this week, the actress donned a sparkly midi dress from her forthcoming collab with JCPenney, and instead of teaming the look with platforms or heels (as one might expect), she chose a pair of fresh white sneakers.
“I don’t really know that I believe in ‘don’ts,’” Ross told Who What Wear about styling advice while at the launch of her line. “I believe in people trusting what feels good to them and using their own authentic voice to discover how they should dress. Clothing can be an armor or a way to feel empowered or joyful, and that’s unique to everybody. One thing that works on one person doesn’t work on another, and that’s a good thing.” To which she added, “and I do believe in sequins during the day.”
The result of her final look for this standout pink piece was an ultra-cool demonstration of dressy-meets-casual—and proof that sequins can be worn anywhere and everywhere you choose.

If it ain't broke, why fix it? Blake Lively has officially found her favorite shoes for traveling. In August, September, and now October, Lively has worn the same Gucci Black Tiger and Pierced Heart Princetown Slippers ($995) to the airport, proving that backless loafers are the ultimate practical shoes for flights. (Don't worry, they definitely don't need to be designer.)
Perfect for slipping on and off through security, she paired the shoes with all-black pieces, including a wide-brim hat—all the better to shield the paparazzi with—an oversized sweater, and cropped flare jeans. Consider your next travel outfit solved.

As the co-founder and designer of The Row (along with sister Ashley), Mary-Kate Olsen is most often seen wearing the brand's luxurious shoes, as anyone in her position gladly would. But last night, while attending an auction and party at Sotheby's in New York with husband Olivier Sarkozy, Olsen opted to wear a comfortable pair of It sneakers by Alexander McQueen. And instead of a typical lace-up or slip-on style, she went with a throwback sneaker trend that has since returned since our elementary school days: velcro. Olsen paired the platform kicks with a long black lace-trimmed dress for a chill, effortless red carpet look, in keeping with her signature aesthetic, and serving as proof that you can wear sneakers anywhere these days.

Rihanna is never one to make subtle fashion choices, and we love for her that. She takes a bold look (sometimes one that has long been considered a fashion faux pas) and makes it her own—just take a peek at her most recent nighttime ensemble.
Opting for a simple little black dress, which she paired with a Burberry trench and hat (in the brand's classic check pattern), Rihanna made a statement with her footwear, something she frequently tends to do (case in point: this brand has had countless requests for the "Rihanna" shoes).
The star combined a pair of naked heels with red argyle socks, perfectly transitioning the summertime shoes into fall. And while we have been told more often than not, to never combine socks with sandals (or heels, for that matter), Rihanna makes a strong case that the faux pas pairing actually works sometimes, especially if you have the right pair of socks.

You'll be hard pressed these days to find something Reformation
isn'tdoing right. From collaborations with the coolest brands (hey
Veda, hey
Doen), to forays into cheeky t-shirts, wedding dresses, and cool workwear, it seems that the brand is quietly taking over our entire closets. Now, the brand is taking a new and exciting step: launching a full blow denim line,
Reformation Jeans.
Following with the brand's commitment to sustainability, founder Yael Afalo used deadstock and sustainable fabrics for the collection of jeans, tops, and dresses.. "Unfortunately, denim is pretty much the worst clothing for the environment. From water and pesticides needed to farm cotton, to toxic chemicals used in dyeing and finishing denim, [it] has a significant environmental impact," Afalo said. "We want to make beautiful, compelling product, but with a focus on how we can have the smallest environmental impact possible. So tackling denim was a no-brainer for us and we're so proud to officially launch into the category. "
Starting today, you can get on the waitlist for the full collection which launches on the 23rd. But, if you're eager to get a head start, there's a number of denim pieces available now for you to shop. Below, we're highlighting a few of our favorites, so get to shopping now!
What's a girl to do when frequently walking red carpets at events in pretty dresses is a huge part of the gig? In Jennifer Lawrence's case, mix things up sometimes and wear a wedding dress. Last night marked the second occasion in a month's time that Lawrence has attended a premiere wearing a wedding dress. The first was at the New York premiere of her film Mother!, in which she posed with her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky in a Dior Haute Couture gown that would look lovely coming down the aisle.
This time around, Lawrence's chosen wedding gown was decidedly more chill but no less romantic. Created by bridal designer Lauren Wells, for her namesake line L. Wells, the dress from her 2018 collection was covered in lace and sheer swiss-dot fabric, which gave it an unapologetic French-girl feel. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), the Los Angeles premiere that Lawrence attended was for the high-praised French documentary Faces Places.

H&M’s newest designer collaboration is here and there’s so much to covet—from the women’s and men’s collections alike. The cookbook for the new Erdem x H&M collaboration has just released this morning and, citing for the London designer, the pieces are splashed with one perfectly seasonal trend: moody florals.
Opting for rhombic petals on black and maroon backgrounds, the celebrity-loved designer has now translated his vision for a much more mass audience. Specifically that means tons of pretty, lacey dresses for any upcoming affair on your Google calendar as well as logo’d hoodies, graphic tees, playful cardigans—a part of the mens’s collection, but they’re really we see them as all-around crowd pleasers.
Unfortunately you won’t be able to pull the trigger just yet on Erdem’s affordable alternatives. The collection will arrive in H&M store and online officially as of November 2. In the meantime, scroll though every single outfit from the collaboration in the slides ahead and start planning next month’s shopping spree.
Finding a chic way to stay warm during the cool months ahead is no easy feat. Enter shearling outerwear. This season, we're predicting the most sought-after jacket will also be the most practical. Stay warm and cozy with their teddy bear-like textures.
If you follow Chrissy Teigen's style closely, you'll notice a recurring theme: she tends to skip flats in favor of a strong pair of high-heeled boots. In fact, she loves the them so much that she insisted on including them in the new collection she designed with Revolve, debuting today.
It's not by accident that Teigen relies on her boots time and time again—she says they have major outfit-transforming powers for her. "I'm a big boot person. I feel like they add so much [to your look]," she told Who What Wear. "Everyone has that statement piece they wear take it to the next level, for me that thing is boots. When you wear boots with low-slung boyfriend jeans or thigh-high boots with an oversized sweater vest, they have an ability to be this little magician and change any outfit. I always feel really sexy in them, I always feel a little cooler in them—and they're just the easiest touch."
As for the rest of the collaboration, Teigen says that it was important to stay true to her personal style. "It feels like my closet," she told us. "Anyone that's been to my house knows that these are the colors I love—this is the Chrissy rainbow we’re using here. My pops of color are blush and maroons and earth tones. [These are] things everybody can wear and feel sexy, confident, and comfortable in." What more could you possibly want?

Last week we had the chance to chat with Romee Strijd at the Levi’s 50 Anniversary event celebrating their Trucker jacket where she shared her go-to outfit combination to wear with a jean jacket. While on the topic of denim the Victoria’s Secret model also shared the best sneaker style to wear with skinny jeans. “For skinny jeans, I really like to pair them with a low sneaker, like a Converse, she told Who What Wear.
Whether you style the sneaker-and-skinny jeans combo with a simple tee or a sleek moto jacket, it’s a foolproof outfit no matter the season. See how Strijd styles the look below and shop our favorite Converse sneakers at the end.
WWW: What can you tell us about how we’ll see her presenting herself in the new season?
CC: "It’s really interesting because [at the end of] season two, we leave her in a place where she’s basically lost everything—she’s stuck between a rock and a hard place. And in season three, all of that armor she had is stripped away. She doesn’t wear jewelry, she doesn’t her layer socks, she doesn’t wear makeup, she doesn’t have her jacket. She’s basically down to just sweat pants and a T-shirt, and she’s more or less in the same thing every episode."
WWW: Right, as though she’s completely defeated. Tell us, what about Darlene’s heart-shaped glasses? How did those come about?
CC: "[Wardrobe] brought me a few choices and I loved the heart-shaped glasses and Sam [Esmail, Mr. Robot’s director] did, too. For me, they’re so special because the second I put them on, I’m her. And I think the juxtaposition between who she is and wearing those heart-shaped glasses is so cute and empowering and just one of those tiny things that makes her so cool and such a badass. I think that she’s one of very few people that can pull that off."
WWW: Has Darlene ever changed the way you think about your own personal style choices?
CC: "I’ve always been like, 'Ugh, I wished I dressed as cool as she does,' but, I’m just too lazy. The biggest thing is her socks—we always double layer socks. I used to never wear socks that would show, and I’ve started wearing long socks with my sneakers. Other than that, I’m not cool enough to wear all of that."
In case you haven't heard, Ganni is the brand on everyone's minds (and in everyone's closets) right now. It's selling like crazy and is beloved by celebrities and Instagram girls alike. Now, the brand has launched a new capsule collection available exclusively on MyTheresa.com, and we officially want everything.
“MyTheresa.com was our first big international partner in the beginning of 2016, and working with them has been truly amazing," Ganni's creative director, Ditte Reffstrup, said in a statement. "We will always have a special thing for them, so we named our upcoming capsule collection ‘My Love Theresa’. Despite our history, we still feel like the new kid in class in their strong portfolio, and named one of our statement prints 'New Arrivals' to reflect this feeling."
Although each of the 17 pieces are covetable, we narrowed down the impossibly chic selection to our favorite 6 items. From the perfect graphic sweatshirt to the coolest party pants we've ever seen, there's something here to suit everyone's style.

If fall 2016 was all about the loafer, fall 2017 is all about the oxford (aka brogues or derby shoes). Earlier this year, the menswear-inspired flats style was declared dead, and there was even extensive data to back it up. Thanks to the Gucci endorsement, the only classic flats anyone seemed to want to wear were loafers, and while those are certainly still going strong, we couldn't help but notice that celeb after celeb has stepped out in oxfords again as of late.
What we love about this resurrected flats trend is that, sure, jeans are the natural choice to wear with them, but there are a number of other pieces you can and should wear them with. For example, they add a cool contrast with a dress or skirt, or you could embrace the rocker vibe and pair them with leather trousers à la Kloss. And since there are a ton of studded oxfords on the market right now, we rounded up a few of our favorites.
Below, see how celebs are styling their oxford shoes this fall and shop our studded oxford picks.
The Kate-Middleton effect is still in full swing. But it seems there's a new, much younger royal who has taken over as the most influential fashion star, and there's data to prove it.
As it turns out, per a newly-released eBay report, two-year-old Princess Charlotte has some serious "spend power." After photos of her on her second birthday were released, in which the young princess wore a yellow cardigan with blue detailing, searches for the item "increased tenfold" and "sparked the biggest percentage increase in searches for an item of clothing worn by any royal," according to an eBay spokesperson.
But while Princess Charlotte ranks in at the top in terms of spending power, it seems her older brother, Prince George, actually has the greatest style influence, especially when it comes to the consistency of sales. After he was photographed wearing a blue jumper during the Canada tour in 2016, eBay experienced a 200% increase in searches for the clothing piece. And according to the report, there have been nearly 1,500 "Prince George" related pieces sold on eBay in the last three months, compared to 500 for "Princess Charlotte."
It's undeniable that the youngest royals are having the same effect (if not more) on people's fashion choices as their mother. As Murray Lambell, vice president of trading at eBay explains, "It's the youngest generation of royals who really generate the must-have fashion items – and are driving a new generation of shopping behavior on eBay."

With a 34.5" inseam, they were designed to be worn with heels but even if you choose to wear flat shoes, they won't bunch at the ankles (which isn't the most flattering look).

Angelina Jolie's newest Harper's Bazaar cover shoot is extra special for a few reasons. For starters, the issue is an anniversary edition celebrating 150 years of the glossy. Jolie also skipped the traditional interview in favor of writing her own feature, in the format of a letter to readers about both environmental and women's issues. Plus, the images were photographed in a place close to Jolie's heart: a nature reserve in Namibia, run by her friends.
"For me, Namibia represents not only ties of family and friendship but also the effort to the balance between humans and the environment so crucial to our future," she writes in her letter. The most striking part of the cover images? The trio of cheetahs that joined Jolie on the beautiful cover, who had been orphaned and were rescued by The N/a’an ku sê Foundation. Get the full scoop on Jolie's wildlife conservation efforts, and every other issue she discusses, over at Harper's Bazaar.

Last month, in a touching tribute seen around the world, Donatella Versace honored (and celebrated) the legendary life of her brother, Gianni Versace, by creating a collection that nodded back to some of his most iconic pieces. And now, in another homage to the late designer’s life and work, Farfetch has partnered with William Vintage, a London-based luxury boutique, to sell 500 original Gianni Versace pieces.
The designs in this collection, which is said to be the largest ever offered for sale (when The Met honored Gianni, the exhibit displayed 187 designs) span a total of 20 years, from his earliest work in 1977 to his final show in 1997. Included in the launch are dresses and tops from his 1992 “bondage” collection, and jackets and skirts from his Andy Warhol-inspired 1991 “Pop” collection, plus much more from his most iconic shows.
“There are so many superb discoveries within the collection,” William Banks-Blaney, the founder of William Vintage, tells Who What Wear, adding that it has been “built up over the years from stylists, models, devoted wearers of Versace and private collections.” But according to Banks-Blaney, the most sought-after Versace pieces include the quilted leather coat with fox fur trim from the “bondage" collection, the Warhol Marylin suit ensemble, and the Baroque cocktail dress (naturally, they already sold).
When asked about some of his favorites in this 500-piece collection (a tough question, we know) he cited the iconic silk shirts and the fabled harness dresses from 1992 (which is still available) among his top picks. And of course, we had to tap Banks-Blaney and Candice Fragis, buying and merchandising director from Farfetch, for their dos and don'ts when vintage shopping online.
"I believe that the best purchase you can make is one you are completely emotional about," shared Fragis. "That way you will always love it! Seeing some of the styles William Banks-Blaney has found immediately tapped into my nostalgia!"
Banks-Blaney had a similar message, saying that above all else, you should buy something because you love it. And of course, it's important to, "Focus on condition and on pieces which are intrinsically representative of their designer and they will always be coveted items."
The pieces can only be purchased via Farfetch, the William Vintage website, and at the William Vintage flagship store in Marylebone. But you better hurry—everything is selling very quickly.
Even though the three most coveted pieces have already been sold, there are hundreds more to choose from. Keep reading to shop a few of our favorites from his iconic collections.
It may not be chilly enough yet to justify blanket scarves or heavy coats, but it's the perfect time of year to add a lightweight cardigan to your wardrobe. Particularly if you have a trip on the horizon (apple picking upstate? A weekend spent in a treehouse you found on Airbnb?), the piece marries comfort, style, and practicality: It's easy to pack, it's not so bulky you can't add a jacket overtop, and it's far cooler than its reputation might suggest—especially if you choose one of the styles we've rounded up below.
Wear Everlane's boxy version with cropped wide-leg jeans and slip-on sneakers, or try Doên's cable-knit cardi with a midi dress and loafers. Even fashion-forward styles, like those with all-over embellishments (see: Alice and Olivia's) or metallic trim (Gucci, of course), are versatile enough to pair with almost everything in your closet, whether for a long flight or a day at the office.

When it comes to modern-day French style icons, Jeanne Damas is certainly at the top of the list. The Rouje designer's Parisian style is the envy of women everywhere, so naturally, we're all ears when she gives outfit tips. In Glamour magazine's November issue—which featured an all-female lineup of photographers, writers, makeup artists, etc.—Damas showed off a week's worth of looks and offered her expert styling suggestions.
Our favorite thing we gleaned? Her simple tip for elongating your frame. "A trick for looking taller is to wear a top and pants in the same color family—and to hide heels underneath the pants!" Damas told Glamour. She chose unexpected burnt orange wide-leg pants, which matched her striped sweater, and finished off the look with heeled boots underneath. In other words, look no further for your ultimate fall look.

When a fashion insider decides to walk down the aisle, its a safe bet that not only will her dress be incredible, but that her guests will offer up major sartorial inspiration too. So was the case for jewelry designer Lili Claspe who feted her wedding in Los Angeles over the weekend with a group of her model friends in attendance.
Claspe posed for a mountaintop photo post-ceremony with three Victoria's Secret Angels, all putting their own spin on wedding guest dressing. Former Angel Bregje Heinen opted for a sleek pink slip dress, while current Angels Jasmine Tookes andand Romee Strijd chose a floaty floral gown and a long-sleeve mini respectively. Each look is different, but spans the sometimes tricky gap between fashion-forward and bride approved.
