An Olsen style spotting is tantamount to happy hour in the Who What Wear offices. It’s rare, rewarding, and always leaves us feeling inspired to try out a new layering trick or two. Thankfully, 2017 is off to a good start because Ashley Olsen stepped out in St. Barts on New Year’s Day wearing a wardrobe staple—black leggings—in a subtle, fashion-forward way, leaving us excited to try it out ourselves.
She paired a Bob Dylan T-shirt with leggings and sneakers (a tried-and-true combination), but it’s her third piece that really took the ensemble to the next level. Rather than slipping into an expected leather jacket or chambray button-down, she tied a silk pajama shirt around her waist for a relaxed finish.
