Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, and Jemima Kirke have become fixtures of our Sunday-night-HBO-watching routines, not to mention the red carpet, tons of magazine spreads, and many candid conversations over the last several years. But before this foursome returns for the very last season of Girls, trust that they have a few more exciting projects up their sleeves to celebrate. Today specifically, it’s the cover of Glamour magazine’s February issue.
The group of girlfriends and costars appear side-by-side on the cover, as well as the laid-back-meets-super-luxe photo shoot that accompanies an “exit interview” with Girls’s showrunner Jenni Konner. But while the inside of the magazine shows the 20- and 30-somethings in elegant lace, tulle, and several different takes on loungewear, it's the cover styling that's a bit more Lady Gaga than ladylike. Dunham, Williams, Mamet, and Kirke all wear staggeringly tall Marc Jacobs heels, similar to the heel height Gaga herself sported for the Fall 2016 runway show.
While no spoilers or teasers were revealed in this latest interview, it's safe to say that these are the kind of outfits we won't expect when the show makes its return on February 12.
Scroll down for a look at the very high-heeled, very leggy cover and accompanying video.
