Carrie Underwood will now add New York Fashion Week designer to her résumé. As Fashionsta pointed out from WWD, Carrie will show her recently-launched Calia activewear line. While she is presenting at NYFW, it won't be so much a full-on runway show as it will be a presentation and pop-up shop, where attendees can shop the collection right there. As WWD highlighted, she said that as a spectator, she’s often frustrated that she has to wait six months before she can buy the merchandise she sees on the runway. “I sit in the audience and say, ‘Oh, I love that,’ but then realize, ‘Oh, I have to wait.’ But with this, people can see what we’re working on right now and buy it immediately. I love that and I hope they will, too,” Carrie said. So interesting
