On the heels of Alexander Wang’s final show for the house this past Friday, Balenciaga has announced their new creative director: Demna Gvasalia, one of the Georgian designers behind the design collective Vetements. Known for its oversized tailoring and reconstructed denim, the label was one of eight finalists for the LVMH Prize in 2015 and is a favorite of industry insiders.
