Every season Pantone releases the top ten colors and ranks which will be most popular. This season is particularly special because the color experts released the selected colors for spring 2017 earlier than they have in the past. Following the path of the “see now, buy now” model runway designers are shifting towards, executives at Pantone hopped on the trend and debuted the top colors immediately following the New York fashion week runway shows.
So what’s the latest “It” shade? According to Pantone Color Institute’s executive director Leatrice Eiseman, Niagara will be the number one hue for spring 2017. If you’re a fan of denim, you’re sure to enjoy this jean-like shade that’s a cool blue. The relaxed hue was seen on several runways like Zac Posen and Carolina Herrera. And we’re only going to see more of it.
