As much as we love our tried-and-true, classic sneakers, we never shy away from cool new updates. From velvet Vans Old Skool Sneakers to revamped Adidas Stan Smiths, we love when brands shake things up with their old stand-by styles. Our newest obsession? Faux fur Converse All Stars, courtesy of Hannah Weiland.
As Elle first reported, Weiland debuted faux fur Converse kicks at the spring 2017 presentation for her eponymous brand during London Fashion Week. You may also know Weiland as the designer of outerwear brand Shrimps, which is known for its furry coats—Weiland told Elle that she wanted to add a touch of Shrimps to her new collection via the faux fur twist on the shoes.
Sadly, however, the sneakers were only for the presentation and won't be for sale. But don't fret! If you're in the market for the look, other brands like Joshua Sanders has several iterations of furry sneakers you can get your hands on right now.
