When a designer reaches cult-favorite status among the most stylish celebs, you know it's the real deal. We're talking about Mansur Gavriel, the shoe and handbag designer that took the fashion world by a storm before moving on to the celebrity one. Now it seems its shoes are quickly becoming a press event staple.
Just last week, Rachel Weisz wore a pair of Mansur Gavriel platform heels for an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. When Alicia Vikander stepped out this week at the Venice Film Festival in a pair of its heeled sandals, however, the jump from street to red carpet was made official. Vikander effortlessly styled the navy blue shoes with a floaty chiffon dress from Prabal Gurung's Resort 2017 collection. This breezy look, paired with such perfectly minimalist sandals, could so easily transition from red carpet to end-of-summer date night.
