When you think of investing in your next outerwear item, you’re likely eyeballing staples such as a leather jacket, trench coat, or parka. But a raincoat? Not so much. This weather-specific piece is often (sadly) overlooked. However, anyone who owns one knows it’s well worth giving a second thought, and thanks to Garance Doré, we have a stylish new option to consider adding to our closets.
The photographer and illustrator just released a raincoat in collaboration with Swedish outerwear company Stutterheim. It’s handmade in rubberized cotton with silver hardware and a simple silhouette. The color palette is blocked in white and Doré’s signature pink, giving the piece a cheerful and subtle feminine appeal. The raincoat is now available, but in a limited quantity, so act fast!
