All of the chicest girls in Germany (and beyond) have officially descended upon Berlin Fashion Week, as yesterday marked the beginning of the F/W 17 collections. While there are tons of talented local designers showcasing their new wares, we've zeroed in on one in particular: William Fan, who has worked for Alexander McQueen and completed a master's program at the art college Berlin Weissensee.
For starters, the designer received a stamp of approval from the ultimate authority on German fashion: the editor in chief of Vogue Germany, Christiane Arp. In an interview with DW.com, Arp mentioned Fan as being one of the country's notable designers.
"I would like to see some of the designers I've been supporting for quite some time now make their way in Germany and internationally," she told the site. "I'd like to see them find their place in the fashion industry because a few of them are really remarkably talented— Marina Hoermanseder, Tim Labenda, RenĂ© Storck or William Fan, just to name a few." Curious to know more? We've rounded up the brand's best Instagrams for your perusing pleasure.
