We've said it before, and we'll say it again—the bomber jacket is not going anywhere in 2017. That's okay, because we're totally here for it. However, we do love that some of our favorite style stars are finding new takes on the trend.
Take Lucy Hale, for example, who stepped out to run errands in one of the most unique styles we've seen yet. It's a pink patterned piece from 3.1 Phillip Lim that looks so prim we almost didn't realize it was a bomber jacket. The tell-tale collar, sleeves, and shape are there, of course, but its almost tweed-like appearance makes the aesthetic lean more towards femininity than the typical streetwear vibes we're used to. To dress it down a bit for daytime, she paired it with a plain black top, dark-wash Cult of Individuality skinny jeans, and black ankle boots. All in all, it's a fresh-feeling outfit that's inspiring us to find an unexpected bomber jacket of our own.
