If there’s any one piece of clothing that’s a common denominator it’s underwear. The vast majority of us wear it, in some shape or form, and so it’s only fitting that the latest Calvin Klein underwear campaign feels inclusive. And in a pleasantly surprising move, it casts a range of women from age 18 to age 73—the latter of which is Lauren Hutton, an industry icon.
In the latest videos released by the brand today, Calvin Klein and creative director Raf Simons enlists director Sofia Coppola to shoot Hutton along with both well-known and up-and-coming stars, such as Rashida Jones, Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Love, Laura Harrier, and Maya Thurman-Hawke. Coming off the heels of the Moonlight cast’s CK debut, these new videos feel playful, cheeky, and intimate. While the director's cut showcases the women’s own unique persona side-by-side, there are also mini clips that accompany it. Each one with a small anecdote from the models, like Hutton recalling a memorable cheesy pickup line and Jones an awkward first kiss.
