2016 was the year that merch took over. Kanye West's Yeezy tees and hats weren't just selling out, but they were reselling on eBay for far above their original price. But, in 2017, West is debuting something new and different: fine jewelry. Today, a collection of gold necklaces and rings dropped on West's website. The 12-piece collection was designed in partnership with jeweler Jacob Arabo, and they were inspired by Florentine art from the 14th century.
While the jewelry only became available to shop today, it should come as no surprise that Kim Kardashian West has been quietly showing support for months. She's worn a number of the necklaces designed by Kanye, a touching tribute as Kanye told Vogue of the collection, "I wanted to create something that represented timeless love."
