The Reformation Top I Bought the Minute It Restocked

As I've stated before, I avidly keep up with Reformation's new arrivals on a weekly basis. It's one of the rare brands that frequently sells out of a number of their new pieces in record time, so if you want to get the best stuff, you have to stalk. That said, I do regrettably miss out on popular pieces (I can't buy them all, sadly), only to find myself signing up for the waitlists and impatiently awaiting the restock emails. Such was the case just a few days ago when the lace-up corset top that seemingly every fashion girl has had their eye on restocked after quickly selling out upon its initial release. I instantly purchased it without thinking twice and sure enough, I checked the top less than an hour later and it and it was completely sold out yet again.

So what makes this particular "Clayten" top so special? For starters, it features a cool menswear-inspired tweed print that contrasts perfectly with the  feminine sweetheart neckline. Additionally, it cinches at the waist, which makes it ultra-flattering, and it zips up the back so that you don't actually have to tie it up every time you put it on (the 18th century ended a long time ago, after all). But perhaps the best thing about this top is its versatility. I plan on wearing it layered over a tee for day or on its own under a blazer or leather jacket for nights out. And it's the perfect match for all of my high-waisted jeans, trousers, shorts, and skirt, without being too cropped.

Hopefully this ultra-popular top will return (perhaps even in new fabrics), but in the meantime, it's still available in black! Keep scrolling to shop it and a few other Reformation tops us editors are currently obsessed with.
