What a French It Girl Wears to an NYC Party

It's a dilemma every NYC knows well: picking out an outfit that you can wear to the office but will still look chic when you run out for drinks afterward. The designer hosted a small fete in NYC to celebrate the one year birthday of her much-loved clothing line, Rouje, and her outfit was an effortless combination of polished and party-ready.

Unsurprisingly, Damas selected a dress from her line for the evening, opting for a printed midi dress with button details. A layered blazer added a little extra structure and coverage, making it ideal for the office, and while Damas' pumps make her ensemble feel party-ready, swapping in flats for daytime is an easy swap to transform a look. The french take on work-to-afterwards dressing is unfussy, and luckily, very easy to try out at home.
