Jennifer Lawrence's latest movie role has just been announced—and it's major. Variety reports that the actress will portray '20s icon Zelda Fitzgerald in an upcoming biopic developed by Ron Howard.
"The pic follows Fitzgerald, who after marrying famed author F. Scott Fitzgerald, tries to find her own voice in the jazz music scene as her husband rises through the ranks of great American novelists," Variety explains. (No word yet on who will play her husband, but something tells us it will be a major A-lister.) We can already foresee some amazing costumes from this period piece: with her bob hair style and metallic fringed dresses, Zelda spearheaded the flapper style of the Jazz Age during the 1920s. In fact, her husband even called her "the first American flapper." We're officially waiting with bated breath for this movie to come out.
