It might be hard for you to remember the episode you got hooked on Gossip Girl, if only because the characters and their accompanying wardrobes were so delightful to watch from the beginning. But Netflix says there was in fact, a specific episode that reeled you in, and even crazier: that it was the same for most everyone watching. Glamour reports that the study Netflix conducted on user data also showed that 70 percent of viewers who watched the "hooked episode" for a given TV series went on to complete season one or more (in other words, once you're hooked, you're hooked). For Gossip Girl, the episode from which there was no going back was episode three, in which the gang gets visited by Ivy Leage school representatives and who's-going-where college drama ensues.
