In college, a silky cami was the one that thing that could transform the jeans you wore for a 4 p.m. lecture to an ensemble you’d sport for 5:30 p.m. Happy Hour. It was fool-proof, simple, comfortable, and Chrissy Teigan would like to remind you of that.
Appearing at JFK today, the model added a bit of shine to her ripped skinnies with a bronze camisole. In an otherwise monochrome and straight-forward ensemble, complete with booties and a black blazer, her slinky tank gave the outfit a less laid-back vibe. Essentially it presents a slight upgrade to your standard jeans-and-T-shirt combo. Plus, it's reminded us to check our closets to make sure we haven’t already Marie Kondo’d all the silk camis—or "going-out tops" if you will—over the last several years.
