Known for her use of volume and bold color, Rosie Assoulin didn’t shy away from either in her Spring/Summer 2018 that just debuted at New York Fashion Week. Among the many vibrant shades were poppy reds, chartreuse greens, canary yellows, and every rainbow-colored prints and patterns. The one standout shade, though, is one we’ve been noticing all over the spring runways: purple.
Assoulin choose a very specific shade of rich lilac in a long dress with cutouts and voluminous sleeves and the statement-making shade caught out attention. We’re making a prediction here that purple will be the It color next spring and we’ll be seeing every fashion girl wear it in the next six months. It’s essentially an answer to this season’s red, which we’re seeing everywhere right now.
Go on to see the standout color from Rosie Assoulin’s show.
