Yet as we move forward into the next season and preview the collections meant for six months from now, we also bear witness to the sartorial predilections no longer determined by show seasons. Over the weekend, Candice Swanepoel stepped out at New York fashion week—after walking the runway for Alexander Wang—wearing a getup that can only be described as 100% '90s. From her shoes to her accessories, every piece in the ensemble recalled the earlier era. Her spaghetti-strap floral mini-dress was wrapped at the waist with a black sweater and her black Dr. Marten combat boots drove the look home. As final touches, the Victoria's Secret model sported oversize hoop earrings and a gold cross necklace.
