Whether you're a self-identified member of the Gucci gang or not, there's no denying the buzz that centers around the iconic brand's extravagant runway show every season. Under the oversight of creative director Alessandro Michele, the brand has brought together an eclectic group of inspirations to create an eye-catching collection of clothes, shoes, handbags and more.
But, through all the lust-worthy pieces to come down the runway, what stood out as the soon-to-be iconic item? We'd pin the bag emblazoned with the Guccy logo, a playful style that touches on the '80s themes throughout the show. According to the brand, the font was inspired by that of the Sega video game console. Other retro details included homages to Elton John, strong-shouldered suits, and plenty of sparkles. Clearly, part of Michele's success is his ability to draw inspiration from any number of creative places.
