Every fan of The Hills remembers the scene all too well: Whitney Port was part of a Good Morning America segment hosted by Vogue's André Leon Talley. She looked stunning while modeling Hilary Swank's Oscar gown—and then proceeded to fall down the stairs on live TV. Now, her appearance on GMA today inspired her to revisit that embarrassing moment.
"I cried for 24 hours straight after this happened," Port explained on Instagram. "But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, right??" She also recalled that there was one person who eased her pain. "@amytastley, the editor in chief of @teenvogue at the time, wrote me a note after that I can't remember verbatim, but it said something like 'even Naomi Campbell falls' and it made me feel so much better," Port wrote. Something tells us Port managed to rebound from the moment just fine.
